How to configure and access ZideStore FreeBusy information ...
FreeBusy URL in Outlook
The ZideStore FreeBusy URL must look like:
http://[host]:[port]/zidestore/so/freebusy?name=%NAME%&server=%SERVER%
The patterns are replaced by Outlook based on the
information contain in the contact record which you
are trying to associate with an appointment, eg:
https://skyrix/zidestore/so/freebusy?name=hh&server=skyrix.com
You can edit this field in the "searchfield" in the calendar options (called
"Suchenfeld in Kalenderoptionen" in German).
Obviously you do not need to enter a "publish" URL
since all appointments you create in OGo are
automatically available as freebusy queries.
Outlook 2000 Bug
Apparently some (all?) Outlook 2000 versions have a bug with retrieving freebusy
information. Try adding some more participants and after two or something it will
display the freebusy info. Sigh.
This bug seems to be fixed starting with Outlook XP (2002).
Exchange Style XML Freebusy
The Evolution Exchange connector retrieves freebusy information not in the iCalendar
format but rather in some weird XML based format produced by Exchange. OGo
ZideStore does support both variants, XML and iCalendar.
